My name is Sotirios (@NBAsopher). I come from Greece and I live in London, UK. I have been playing basketball in an amateur level (non-professional clubs in Thessaloniki, Greece as well as university teams in the UK) since I was 10 years old. I have been involved with basketball in Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, in many different ways: I am one of the founding members, chairman and a player of the newly created Glasgow Olympians Basketball Club, I was a player/coach for Glasgow Fever men’s team and a basketball referee in Glasgow’s local leagues as well as in Scotland’s Universities League. I decided to begin this blog some time ago, to combine my passions for philosophy and the NBA. Due to lack of time I didn’t have the opportunity to publish many articles, however I have published much more in my old (more popular) blog; NBAat90s. The main aim of this blog is to provide a philosophical or even academic view on the NBA. This is to say, my writing will resemble academic essays, while I will try, in time, to answer questions about the comparing different NBA eras as well as defining the eras themselves.
